Communicable Disease

Pursuant to Department of Public Health Regulations, we are required to obtain from every employee and contractor, verification of freedom from communicable diseases as verified by physician by having a negative TB test or negative chest x-ray that has been completed within the last year.

All employees and contractors who have direct contact with clients must certify that they do not presently have any communicable disease and that they will notify their supervisor if and when they incur such a condition.

In addition, if an employee or contractor has not provided verification of freedom from communicable disease completed within the last six (6) months, they must provide a written opinion from their doctor verifying whether or not they have any communicable disease of a public health nature within the next 30 days (or prior to start date, if new hire).
